Day 0
If tomorrow is a day 1 of some kind...
It will see me boarding a flight to Italy, sans Airhitch, and boy am I greatful. The tale is long and sordid, but the upshot of it is this: I'll make it to Bologna for the dig, and I'll make it back in time to avoid being considered "illegal."

Great question, Doppelganger Nic!
For the curious, it's a reference to a dear traveling companion of mine who can no longer join me, due to reasons of old age. 23 is pretty major for a stuffed Koala bear! But as Traveling Bear these days tends to spend his time in solitary meditative retreat, I'm sure he'll be watching over me, and granting his blessings to all travelers around the world.
