Quickly, velocemente

This internet point costs too much, so I will wait before writing more.

But in summary:
dig finished, left for Bologna Friday night, when friends came down to pick me up.
spent weekend at my friend Sara's house, visited with her and her Francophone roommates.
spend most of sunday reading a book. praises to the powers that be.
Sunday night took train to Ravenna, received by Savina, much happiness.
today we go to the beach, even if the weather is poor. (yesterday it hailed in Bologna! impossible!)
tomorrow I visit Melissa, then leave for Sicily, where I will accompany Alba to Palermo, before she leaves for a dig in Tunisia. in Palermo I will stay with my friend Massimiliano. but all that in due course...

and I'm well. I would say of the dig: this is just the sort of reason I got into archaeology for in the first place. also, I'm glad it's over, 'cause it did go on for quite a while. my heart is doing much better, thank you, though there is always residue to work through. and another way to be honest with myself. I've taken a decision lately that has given me a lot of confidence where my relationships are concerned. but all that in due course...
