yes, privatization is opposed by strikes, there are confrontations, pirated boats, and much madness besides. so total blockade of Corsica today, little chance of our taking the ferry tomorrow, but there is still a chance. no one should worry for us at all, we are in good hands with Franck, who will harbour the 8 of us at his house in Ajaccio until Corsica Ferries begins transporting passengers again. and we will be among friends, even better a well oiled team that has had three weeks of working together, and I feel very at ease about our ability to handle any difficulties that might arise. as for making it back to Blagnac in time for my grandmothers birthday, I can only hope.
I will post all about my 3 weeks digging sometime soon, when I have a keyboard that is more to my liking and lets me use apostrophes. but in essence I am OK, non preoccuparvi. ciao and until soon.
