pictures de la Corse

The first set above is from a fishing marsh/island where our team did some prospecting. Aside from muck and trash, I managed to capture a nice sunset over the mountain. On the bottom left is a shot of some rocks I scraped (needs rotating clockwise).
The second set shows the dolmen called La Casa di L'Orcu (the ogre's house) above, and part of our daily walk to the site below.
For the third set, the bottom right is a detail of the same dolmen, while the other three of our dig zone for the season- most likely a habitation area.
The fourth set is all taken in that part of the island called Cap Corse, save the top left which is a view looking over Patrimonio, from "Le Moulin" where two of us stayed the first week of the dig.
Lastly, we have a panorama of two pictures already shown, but put together the right way. At the top right of the photo, on the mountain in the distance, is where lies a dolmen our team excavated this season. I got to do a little bit of that, including helping out in putting one of the slabs back into place.
Thanks to Phillip for the scans, back in Cornebarrieu. More tales soon!

Great update, thanks. And I'm glad you made it to Blagnac in time for your grandmother's birthday. You know that meant a lot to her. Hope your trip home went well. Looking forward to hearing of your new adventures.
